Talking Forestry with PSC Commissioner Jason Shaw

Georgia Forestry Association President & CEO Andres Villegas recently caught up with Public Service Commissioner Jason Shaw to discuss the impact of forestry on the state and how the PSC is working to address the needs of the forestry community.

The mission of the Georgia Public Service Commission is to exercise its authority and influence to ensure that consumers receive safe, reliable and reasonably priced telecommunications, electric and natural gas services from financially viable and technically competent companies. Shaw was appointed to the Public Service Commission by Governor Nathan Deal and was sworn in on January 3, 2019 to serve District 1, which represents all of South Georgia. He will be running for reelection in the General Election on Nov. 3.
