More Than 350 Attend GFA Regional Forestry Meetings Across Georgia

More than 350 people attended the Georgia Forestry Association’s 2026 Regional Forestry Meetings across Perry, Athens, Valdosta, Blackshear and Dublin.

The five meetings brought forestry professionals, landowners, loggers and industry partners together to discuss regional challenges, share perspectives and strengthen connections across Georgia’s forestry community.

Connecting Local Perspectives to Statewide Priorities

Topics affecting Georgia’s working forests—including markets, operating costs, forest management and regulatory issues—remain important across Georgia. Regional meetings give members an opportunity to connect with peers and engage with issues shaping the industry.
