
The Georgia Forestry Association (GFA) is seeking a highly motivated student for our Forest Policy Legislative Internship, running January 5 – April 15, 2026, during Georgia’s legislative session.
As the premier advocate for Georgia’s forestry industry, GFA plays a vital role in shaping natural resource policy at the local, state, and federal levels. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work inside the Georgia State Capitol, tracking legislation, attending committee hearings, preparing policy briefs, and supporting advocacy efforts that impact one of Georgia’s most important industries.

Who Should Apply: Students enrolled in collegiate coursework in forestry, natural resources, business/economics, public affairs, or related fields with strong communication skills and a passion for policy and advocacy.
