This week in an effort led by the Forest Resources Association, the Georgia Forestry Association was proud to join many other forest industry organizations in sending a letter to the White House emphasizing the critical nature of the H-2B visa program. The letter specifically requested an exemption for the H-2B program in any upcoming executive action on immigration.
“Forest products are critical to many facets of the COVID-19 emergency response and also everyday life of every American citizen,” GFA President & CEO Andres Villegas said. “H-2B labor is very important in keeping the entire supply chaining running smoothly.”
