Ensuring Efficiency of Trucking and Logistics

A key to sustaining working forests and ensuring a viable forest products industry is ensuring the efficiency of the forest product supply chain. GFA is focused on researching and addressing safety and cost efficiencies gained through increased haul weights and access to the interstate system.

Developing Ecosystem Services Payments

Forested watersheds play a vital role in storing and purifying water for downstream consumers, and provide two-thirds of the drinking water in the U.S. GFA is focused on developing ecosystem services payments to landowners who help sustain water quality and quantity for local communities who depend on forested watersheds for their drinking water.
