Charles Etter is a Gulfstream staff scientist and technical fellow with responsibility for environmental strategy and regulatory affairs. Etter is also an engineer and environmental strategist who has dedicated his career to business aviation sustainability. During a career spanning more than 35 years, he has focused on environmental topics such as aircraft noise, emissions and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). He also serves as a technical advisor to the International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industry Association (ICCAIA) and International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) on environmental topics.
For the past 14 years, Etter has worked closely with renewable fuel experts from around the world and been instrumental in bringing SAF to Gulfstream. In 2022, Etter was recognized by Corporate Jet Investor as one of 2022’s most influential people in sustainable business aviation.
