Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question? You are in the right place! Check out our frequently asked questions below, or contact us.

How many people will be in attendance at the conference this year?

At this time, we are heeding the guidelines from the South Carolina Department of Public Health and the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa which limits attendance for in-person events at the hotel to 250 attendees. We are hopeful that with increased vaccinations, COVID restrictions will relax and our number of allowed attendees will increase. Learn more about registering for the conference here.

Is there a virtual attendance option for the event?

Yes. Individuals may choose to register for the virtual-only option for the conference, which includes access to virtually premeried content and live streams of the in-person events. Learn more about this option on the registration page.

Will there be continuing education credits for the conference?

This year’s event provides a variety of virtual and in-person education sessions and networking and recreational opportunities. Attendees may receive up to six (6) Continuing Education Credits, pending approval from the Society of American Foresters and Georgia Master Timber Harvester Program.

Does my sponsorship also apply to the American Forestry Conference?

The American Forestry Conference is a separate event, which is tentatively planned for Q2 2022. Sponsorship options or the Annual Conference are avialble or interested parties. Learn more on the sponsorship page here.

Can I exhibit and not sponsor the conference?

There are 10 total exhibit booths this year and sponsors at the Title, Platinum and Diamond levels will be given first right of refusal for the booths. If there are openings for exhibit spaces, businesses may reserve those spaces at a rate of $1,500. Contact Michele Lawson at michele@gfagrow.org for more information.
