Forestry Day at the Capitol & Advocacy Summit

February 11, 2015 @ 8:30 am - February 12, 2015 @ 2:00 pm

The Georgia Forestry Association (GFA) serves as the premier advocate for Georgia’s forests and forestry community by educating business, environmental and political leaders about Georgia’s responsible forest management practices, benefits derived from forestry, and landowner rights.

Our Forestry Day at the Capitol event is the highlight of our program year, providing GFA members with an opportunity to network with legislators, public officials and decision makers while catching up with fellow forestry professionals and landowners. In addition, we have added new elements to the 2015 event to provide attendees with an opportunity to learn more about the key priorities of the Association’s advocacy efforts and information about how to stay engaged with forestry issues throughout the year.

Continuing Forestry Education and Continuing Logger Education credits will be available to those who attend educational sessions.

Registration Fee
Cost to attend is $90 for the advocacy summit and legislative reception, and $45 for the legislative reception only.
